Martin Print's all new online ordering system has revolutionised print ordering making it so easy you don't even have to leave your office desk.
I decided to find out for myself just how quick and easy Martin Print's print ordering system really is.
First I visited the website, www.martinprint.com.au and filled in my details for my free registration. After I submitted my form, a password was emailed to me straight away.
I went to the Place an Order section, then to the 'Upload Artwork' Page and uploaded my ideas for a business card so I could have a designer create my artwork.
 A little while later, I received another email to let me know my proof was waiting to be viewed at the site with a note from the designer saying a draft of the artwork had been created using my ideas. I clicked on the link provided and, after entering my password, I was able to view my proof online which I approved and returned.
I received confirmation of my artwork approval and was advised that my job would take about four to six working days and that the job would start as soon as payment was received. I was given three options of payment which included payment by credit card, I could transfer payment direct to Martin Print bank account using the bank account details provided or I could send a cheque to Martin Print at the address given. The final note was to say I would be advised when my order had been shipped. I chose the direct payment method because it was easy and to save time.
A few days later, I received notification by email that my business cards had been shipped with a 'thank you' note from the designer.
My completed print order was delivered to my door and I didn't even have to leave my office.
I was impressed by the speed and efficiency of the system which saved me time and therefore money by not having to drive to the print office to complete the transaction.
Martin Print's website includes a range of software and tutorials available to you online so you can learn how to design your own cards. Or you can talk to a designer via the web or email and have artwork tailored to suit you as I did.
Martinprint.com.au also haw a range of 'bleed' templates for you if you would like to create your own artwork. The templates are a guide to the finished size where the guillotine cuts to after printing. Those templates are in the Downloads section.
The designers create your artwork to your requirements and their satisfaction policy means they keep designing until you are completely happy with the outcome. For this, a flat rate is charged which for business cards is currently $49. A fast turn-around time on design work is assured and this is usually between one and two days.
Printing prices are available on the website and, as an example, business cards start at a low $49 for 250 full colour cards (or $59 for 500!).
Martin Print gives you the print quality that only Heidelberg four colour presses are capable of creating. Full colour printing ensures accurate, detailed and brilliant reproduction of your original artwork at a low cost per sheet unlike inkjet printers or colour photocopiers.
Free shipping Australia-wide is included and finished orders up to 3kg are sent by overnight express to all major cities. All other orders are sent by road.
The live order and freight tracking facility lets you know where your job is at all times for your peace of mind.
